December Goals
Life:
- Purchase a new Christmas tree and decoration. Everything is gone to the trash and now I have to start all over again. F
- Make a list of everyone that I need to purchase Christmas gifts for and start researching gift ideas. D
- I love shopping early and getting everything off my Christmas list. Waiting until the last minute for Christmas shopping is a night mare on Elm’s Street kind of nightmare. D
- Go to some Christmas activities and have some fun. A
Blogging
- Working on content for the month. I have been blogging at least three sometimes four times a week. It’s a struggle to stay on my deadlines but I have determined to give myself a schedule and stick with it. Also, I need the schedule to keep me organized so I don’t drive myself crazy. C
- I am comfortable with pushing out 3 post a week because I still need time to promote it and research the response on my social media sites. C
- I am at 35 followers on my blog site and I want to reach to 45. A
- Planning ahead with new content for next month. Trying to think of topics that will help you and encourage you is not easy because I don’t want to write half ass blog posts that I wouldn’t even read. I want you to get something out of my topics that we can have a conversation on and discuss different aspects of the topic. C
Social Media
It was difficult go back and forth between site to check on my different social media. I ended up founding the extension/site/app called Buffer and I love it. It helps me schedule and post my week worth of pictures, questions, or quotes. I used to go days without posting, so I wanted to be more consistent and Buffer was the answer. I uses the free version right now and I have to say that’s all I need for the moment.
My Pinterest Followers is at 885. I want to reach 950 by the end of the month. 920
My Business Facebook page is at 60. I want to reach 65 by the end of the month. 66
My Instagram page is at 175. I want to reach 180 by the end of the month. 175
My Google+ page is at 11. I want to reach 20 by the end of the month. 14
Fitness Goals
Start Walking. I wanted to start walking three times a week. F
Eating healthier. I did a little better choosing healthier food and curbing my appetite. A
January Goals
Happy New Year everyone and I hope everyone had a wonderful and happy Christmas and New Year. I was thinking about my New Year’s Resolution for 2018 and to be honest I already started my Resolution 2 months ago. I can tell you that I am still growing, learning, and working at my goals I want to achieve and make into a lifestyle change. So, without further a-do here is my goals for the new year.
Lifestyle:
- I am a baby vegan: I have decided to try being a vegan for various reasons but I want to see if I can be a vegan first. So, I decided to give myself six months to be a vegan and see if this is what I want to do and if I achieve six months then I will do another six months. I will document my process and progress as I go along on this journey. My reasons to go vegan was that I want to start living a more healthy lifestyle, stop eating processed foods, and lose weight and get my cholesterol into check. It will be a struggle going vegan and not eating meat but I need to make a change for myself and my family.
- Start getting into meal planning for myself and family. I want to do those freeze meals for a month and vegan meals for a week to a month.
- Going back to school to get my Nursing degree. This was not my route in life but it doesn’t mean you can’t have 2 paths or 4 paths in your life. It is what you make of yourself in your life
- Move my Business into a more recognized platform where I can reach more of my audience and followers. I want to start spreading my wings in different adventures.

Fitness Goals
- Exercise for 30 minutes per day for 4x a week.
- Drink a gallon of water a day
- Keep my calorie intake to 1,200 a day
- Cut out sugar, starches, chocolate, and high fats
